Terms of Service

These terms describe the use of Nextplay, a gaming discovery and library management service operated by xthink strategy GmbH. Our contact details are in the Legal Notice.

The service

Nextplay helps you explore information about games in your Steam library, wishlist, playtime, achievements, and selected third-party game services. The current service is free to use. Some features require you to connect a Steam account and make relevant Steam data available. We may change, improve, or discontinue features, subject to applicable law.

Your account and use of Nextplay

Steam authenticates your account. You are responsible for the security of your Steam account and for using Nextplay in accordance with applicable law and Steam’s terms. Do not interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, manipulate challenge results, or use the service to infringe the rights of others.

To stop using Nextplay, sign out. You may request deletion of your Nextplay account and associated personal data by contacting us at k.konrad@xthink-strategy.de. More information is in the Privacy Policy.

Game data and third-party services

Game descriptions, artwork, achievements, cloud gaming availability, controller support, and other third-party information may be incomplete, delayed, or changed by their providers. Nextplay does not sell games, grant game licenses, or guarantee that a game will remain available on a particular platform. Steam and other linked services have their own terms and policies. Nextplay is independent of those providers.

Challenges and giveaways

Weekly achievement challenges are governed by the Challenge & Giveaway Rules. They currently have no prizes. If a giveaway with prizes is offered in the future, its specific eligibility, dates, prize, and selection process will be stated in additional rules for that giveaway.

Intellectual property

Nextplay’s original branding, design, and software are protected by applicable rights. You may use the service for its intended personal purposes. Game names, images, marks, and other third-party materials remain the property of their respective rights holders. These terms do not transfer any intellectual property rights to you.

Availability and liability

We work to keep Nextplay available and its information useful, but uninterrupted availability and the accuracy of third-party data cannot be guaranteed. Our liability is determined by applicable law. Nothing in these terms limits liability where it cannot legally be limited, including liability for intent, gross negligence, or injury to life, body, or health.
