Challenge & Giveaway Rules

These rules explain Nextplay’s current weekly achievement challenges and how any future prize giveaway will be announced. The organizer is xthink strategy GmbH; contact details are in the Legal Notice.

Weekly achievement challenges

You need a connected Steam account and must select “Join” for a weekly challenge to appear on its leaderboard. Each challenge runs from Monday 00:00 UTC until the following Monday 00:00 UTC. The score is the number of eligible Steam achievement unlocks with timestamps within that period that Nextplay has imported for your account. Refreshing achievements can change the displayed score as more eligible unlocks are imported.

Only data available from Steam can be counted. Private or unavailable Steam statistics, missing timestamps, API delays, and import errors can affect the score. The leaderboard shows participants’ Steam display names, avatars, and scores. Equal scores may appear in either order. We may correct obvious technical errors or remove manipulated entries to protect the challenge.

The current weekly challenges do not award prizes. A leaderboard position alone does not create a claim to a prize, payment, or other benefit.

Future giveaways with prizes

Nextplay may run separate giveaways in the future. No giveaway is active merely because this page exists. Before a prize giveaway begins, we will publish rules for that specific promotion, including who may enter, the entry period, any age or residency restrictions, the available prizes, how winners are selected and notified, relevant deadlines, and how personal data needed for prize delivery is handled.

If promotion-specific rules differ from this page, those specific rules govern that promotion. Participation will not require a purchase unless expressly and lawfully stated in the promotion-specific rules. Steam, Valve, NVIDIA, and other third parties are not organizers or sponsors unless the specific giveaway rules explicitly say otherwise.
